Fri 23 July 2021 | 17:30

The Giallorossi were close to sending Robin Olsen to Lille on a €5m fee plus bonuses; however, there seem to be problems.

As per reports from

Sky Sport Italia

,

Roma

were on the verge of closing the deal on

Robin Olsen

when problems have emerged.

Now, the goalkeeper may not wear the LOSC jersey in the 2021-22 season, as the two parties are having problems on the terms of the agreement.

The Swede had just come back to the Stadio Olimpico after spending time with

Everton

on a loan deal in the Premier League.

The Sweden international was close to joining

Lille

for €5m plus around another €1m in bonuses. At first, the deal was going to be a loan that included an option to buy, but they changed it to a permanent move and last week it seemed like the deal was about to be completed.

Roma penned a contract with

Rui Patricio

from Wolverhampton Wanderers and have a new shot-stopper.

Olsen was linked with a move to

Atletico Madrid

, where he would be second in the pecking order.
