Bologna CEO says that Tomiyasu could join Tottenham if they receive a good offer.

Claudio Fenucci

has talked about

Takehiro Tomiyasu’s

future at the club, insisting that they wish the defender to stay, but he admits that a transfer to Tottenham is possible if the club receives a good offer.

The reports suggest that the Premier League side has already seen two offers rejected by the Serie A side and that they are considering a third one in the near future and the Italian sources claim that the deal will be done eventually as both clubs want the Japanese defender to join Tottenham this summer.

Fenucci admits that although they don’t want to lose the player, they can use the money from selling him to reinforce their squad.

When asked about the speculation linking Tomiyasu with a move to Spurs, he told

“Tomi will play the Olympics and is currently a player of Bologna and I hope he will remain so.

“If he expresses his will to go to the Premier League and Tottenham will respect our requests, we’ll see.

“In case the money from the sales will allow us to reinvest on the market.”
