AC Milan completes signing Brahim Diaz on loan from Real Madrid.
After his impressive season withMilan
had been interested in staying with the Rossoneriand now the club has officially announced that they have signedReal Madrid’s
winger on loan for two more seasons.
The 21-year-old moved to Real Madrid from Machester City in 2019 but didn’t get an opportunity to prove himself as a favored player in the first team.
"AC Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Brahim Abdelkader Díaz from Real Madrid CF on a temporary basis for two years. The contract ties the football player to the Rossoneri Club until 30 June 2023,"
the club revealed in a statement published on their official website on Monday
"Brahim, after scoring 7 goals in 39 appearances with AC Milan last season, will continue to be a Rossoneri player, wearing the number 10 jersey."
Brahim Diaz left Spain to join the Citizens at the age of 16 and returned to his hometown by signing a £15.5 million deal with Real Madrid in June 2019. After failing to impress at Santiago Bernabeu, he moved top Milan on a loan deal in 2020, where he experienced a successful season with the Serie A side as they managed to return to the Champions League after seven years, finishing the season in second place behind Inter and that could have been the reason behind his interest in staying at the club.
