Juventus are eyeing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes as a replacement for Arthur Melo while the Brazilian is recovering from his knee surgery.

The Bianconeri have recently confirmed that

Arthur Melo is expected to miss the start of the new season

and will be away for about three months following knee surgery.

The 24-year-old suffered a post-traumatic injury of the soft tissue between the tibia and fibula in his right leg in February 2020 during a clash with Atalanta.

According to reports from La Repubblica, the Old Lady have set their sights to sign

Paris Saint-Germain

midfielder

Leandro Paredes

on loan to fill in the void created by Melo’s absence.

The 27-year-old Argentina international is no stranger to Serie A as he had spells at

Chievo

,

Empoli

, and

Roma

before his €23m switch to

Zenit St Petersburg

in 2017.

He then joined PSG for €40m in January 2019 and his current deal with the Ligue 1 giants runs until June 2023.
