As per reports from Mundo Deportivo, the 18-year-old has gone back to the Ciutat Esportiva de Sant Joan Despi after four days of working on his recovery in Madrid.

Ansu Fati

has not been playing since November as he sustained an injury featuring for

in the battle against Real Betis.

Fati has now reached the final stages of his recovery and will return to Camp Nou to be in the Pre-season squad.

The 18-year-old is going to spend four days in Madrid and three days in Barcelona at the moment.

During Joan Laporta’s address to the squad on Monday, he was there, but he went north to work with Joaquin Juan and Raul Martinez, two highly-respected physiotherapists.

Martinez is Spain’s physio and has worked with Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Andres Iniesta and Carles Puyol.

Juan is also qualified as he has worked with Pau Gasol, Rafael Nadal and Cristiano Ronaldo before.

The Catalans will be careful in re-introducing Fati to the first-team squad as they fear setting his recovery back even further. Barcelona see Fati as a crucial player in the future.
