The Arsenal captain intends to leave for Roma as soon as possible.

Swedish star Granit Xhaka intends to give up for his

Arsenal

bonus to sign for Roma and join Jose Mourinho's new team.

Xhaka, who has attracted the attention of Roma, has reached an agreement with the club and intends to finalize his transfer to the Italian capital soon.

Roma have offered €15 million plus bonuses for the 28-year-old midfielder, while Arsenal signed Xhaka in 2016 for €45 million from Borussia Monchengladbach.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Arsenal captain has reached an agreement with Roma over personal terms. His contract will be for 4 years and he will receive 2.5 million Euros a year from Roma.

But the Swiss star has asked Arsenal to cut his bonuses of last season to make the transfer process easier and for him to leave for the Italian capital sooner.

Xhaka 's contract with Arsenal expires in the summer of 2023. He has scored 13 goals and 20 assists in 220 games for the team.
