AS Roma are no longer pursuing their interest in the Barcelona midfielder this summer.

Barcelona

have decided to send

Miralem Pjanic

away from Camp Nou before the start of the next season as

Ronald Koeman

tries to trim the squad.

The Blaugrana manager has been told to cash in on some highly-paid players to be able to bring in new ones and offer

Lionel Messi

a new contract.

However, the Barcelona midfielder has rejected their offer to be able to depart as a free agent, but Koeman is keen on cashing in on him in the upcoming weeks.

The Bosnia international has attracted the attention of many Serie A clubs; however, as per reports from Marca,

Roma

’s Jose Mourinho is not eyeing the 31-year-old.

Juventus

, on the other hand, may try and bring him back to the club but they would rather sign him when he hits free agency.
