Paris Saint-Germain said goodbye to Alessandro Florenzi, who was playing on loan in the French capital. So the Italy international will return to Roma, but it remains to be seen whether he is in Jose Mourinho's plans.
The Italy international is now set to return to Rome as he saluted Paris Saint-Germain on social media:
“It’s time to say goodbye. It was a great privilege to be part of this family. To be there, was a great opportunity to develop. I really thank everyone. The staff, coaches, managers and
wish you the best,”
“Thank you for your smile, your good humour and your professionalism on a daily basis. The Club wish you the best for the future
The 30-year-old joined PSG on loan in 2020, but his performance to activate the € 9 million buy-out clause was not well received by Paris Saint-Germain officials.
PSG succeeded him with Achraf Hakimi, who has moved to Paris on a €71m deal from Inter. Florenzi’s contract with Roma is valid until 2023.
