The English defender will soon be added to Patrick Vieira's team.
Crystal Palace have reached an agreement withChelsea
over the transfer of Marc Guehi.
The Ivory Coast born defender, who grew up at Chelsea Academy and joined the first team, spent last season on loan at Swansea City. His good performance has persuaded Palace to hire him. Chelsea also agree to sell him, but there is a clause in the contract that in the future, Chelsea will have priority over other teams to buy him.
Guehi played 40 games last season under Steve Cooper, but their team failed to return to the Premier League after losing to Brentford in play-off final.
Guehi plays for the England Under-21 team and has a contract with Chelsea until 2023, but he has only played two games for Chelsea's first team to date. New Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira has agreed to sign him and it remains to be seen where the transfer will end up.
