However, Canada’s preparation for their upcoming Gold Cup campaign was rocked by the news of Davies’ injury on Friday.

Davies picked up a knock in Canada’s training session on Wednesday and won’t be available for the Gold Cup. The extent of the injury is yet to be clarified, but Davies has left Canada’s training camp to begin his recovery process in Munich.
