Lineker asks England fans to respect the Italian national anthem

England legend Gary Lineker is worried that England fans may boo the Italian national anthem.

Ahead of

England’s

clash in the Euro 2020 final against

Italy

, their legend

Gary Lineker

has asked the fans not to boo the opposition’s national anthem, insisting that it would be a very classless move added to the fact that Italy has a very beautiful anthem.

England supporters have been waiting for a major trophy for a long time as their last appearance in the final of a major tournament has been in 1966, and now they have the chance to win the Euro for the first time in their history, and they are going to be playing the final at Wembley stadium.

“If you’re lucky enough to get a ticket for the final, please, please don’t boo the Italian anthem,”

he wrote on Twitter

.

“A/ It’s an absolute belter and worth listening to. B/ It’s bloody rude, disrespectful and utterly classless.”

UEFA is taking disciplinary action against England fans for disrespecting Denmark’s national anthem, added to pointing laser pens at Kasper Schmeichel during the penalty.

The media, specifically in England, has been impressed by Italians’ performance of their national anthem during the tournament, and many fans have admired their passion while signing the anthem and even the music’s tempo. So Gary Lineker has urged the fans to enjoy the performance with respect instead of showing classless impressions.
