English fans revolted again after the victory of their national team.
The Metropolitan Police announced that they had arrested 20 fans after their gathering forEngland
's 2-1 victory against Denmark in the semi-final of Euro 2020.
After England reached the final of a major competition after the 1966 World Cup, riot police clashed with fans celebrating. In Piccadilly Circus, fans blocked the streets and climbed out of telephone boxes, causing heavy traffic.
Therefore, the police responded to the rally and arrested 20 people. Metropolitan Police wrote on Twitter:
"20 arrests have been made by officers for a number of offences including common assault, public order and assault on police."
England beat Denmark last night with a winning goal from Harry Kane from a penalty spot in extra time and will play the final against Italy on Sunday at Wembley Stadium.
