Sergio Ramos officially joins PSG on a two-year contract

Paris Saint-Germain has finalized the deal with former Real Madrid captain.

There have been many speculations regarding

Sergio Ramos

’ future since he announced his imminent departure from

Real Madrid

after 16 years.

Although there were many rumors about Ramos’ next destination, various sources reported that

Paris Saint-Germain

would be the most likely option for the Spaniard.

In this regard, Paris Saint-Germain announced a few minutes ago that they have recruited the 35-year-old defender on a two-year contract and the Spain international will take on a new challenge at Parc des Princes.

"The best place to keep on dreaming, the best club to keep on winning. We're going to fight with everything we have for everything. Allez PSG."

Ramos tweeted after joining PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi also commented on the signing of former Real captain:

"Today, Paris welcomes one of the greatest players of our era. We are delighted to announce that Sergio Ramos has joined us.
