It seems that the English star intends to separate from the Hammers.

West Ham star Declan Rice has turned down two offers to extend his club's recent contract.

Rice, who is currently with the England national team at Euro 2020, has a contract with the Hammers until 2024, and there is a one-year extension clause in his contract. His brilliance with the Three Lions has led many teams to seek him out, most notably Chelsea and Manchester United.

Chelsea has long wanted to sign Rice, but they believed

West Ham

would be looking for high sums for him last summer. Manchester United, who are thinking of strengthening their midfield, considers Rice one of the main options.

However, West Ham's asking for Rice will be a big problem for clubs. The Red Devils, who have managed to sign Jadon Sancho from Dortmund for 73 million pounds, will not afford to buy Rice.

Rice was one of the key players in David Moyes' team last season. They struggled to win the Champions League all season and performed very well, although they eventually qualified for the Europa League.

Rice's transfer value is estimated at around £50 million, but West Ham is said to want £100 million in return.
