The former Germany goalkeeper has founded a new transfer platform designed to make it easier for clubs and football players to find each other.

Ahead of the summer transfer window, many clubs across Europe are trying to find players that would strengthen their squads. Clubs have to keep an eye on their potential transfer targets throughout one or more campaigns to see if they fit their criteria.

Former Bayer Leverkusen and Germany shot-stopper

Rene Adler

has launched a new app called ‘

’ which has been designed to match up clubs with their desired players.

"I call it boldly the Tinder for football players and clubs, because we also bring two parties together through matching,"

The 36-year-old told

"It is obvious that players want to take care of their own concerns more and more and no longer want to be completely dependent on the work of their advisors.

"But not every professional can be like the absolute top stars Joshua Kimmich or Kevin De Bruyne, who are now negotiating themselves, choosing from offers as he wants."

11TransFair doesn’t require any payment upon downloading. However, it will initially be exclusive to the top four divisions in Germany. Professional players are required to enter their salary requirements plus four of their primary attributes from 20 possible options.

The platform is set to earn money through commissions paid by clubs that land successful transfers with their desired players. Adler hopes 11TransFair will add more transparency to the market of football transfers.

"We want to bring transparency into a non-transparent market.

"So that a player can choose not only between Lübeck and Meppen, but perhaps a Hungarian and an Australian club. They should find their best career options."
