Barcelona might end up selling Francisco Trincao

Barcelona are considering offloading some deadwood including Francisco Trincao, who failed to deliver on a consistent basis, in order to make space for their new signings.

Barcelona

have been busy this summer as they have signed Memphis Depay, Sergio Aguero, Emerson, and Eric Garcia to create a pretty stacked frontline. Therefore, they need to offload some unwanted players to make space for the new arrivals.

Barcelona forward

Francisco Trincao

could be one of them. The Portuguese starlet has been trying to convince since he arrived at Camp Nou last summer, but it seems he has not been successful.

Although he was able to provide moments of quality last season, he failed to deliver on a consistent basis.

It is likely he would only leave for a good fee or a loan that would further his development.

He joined Barcelona from Braga for €21 million plus Abel Ruiz, a deal many considered a bargain. Indeed, Jorge Mendes proposed €40 million for him to Barcelona last summer but it was rejected.

Some Premier League clubs have shown interest in him and it seems if he is to move on, he would command a fee of around €30 million.
