Lewandowski eager to depart Bayern Munich this summer

This is going to be an interesting summer for the Poland international.

Robert Lewandowski

, who will captain

Poland

as they lock horns with Spain this evening, is considering a change of scenery. The Polish marksman has achieved all there is at

Bayern Munich

, as per reports from Diario AS.

The 32-year-old, whose contract will keep him at the club for another two years, admitted that he is ready for a challenge abroad after being in Germany for eleven years.

Bayern Munich, on the other hand, are not going to let him depart and may offer him a new contract. They hope to see the striker score his 365th goal for the club and break Gerd Muller’s record, with his current tally being 277. Lewandowski received this year’s Golden Boot, meeting the back of the net 41 times, being one of the main candidates for the Ballon d’Or.

Real Madrid

have always been eyeing the Pole, and have considered signing him several times before. Having scored 459 goals during his career, he is considered a super-reliable goalscorer.

Real Madrid are not the only club interested in his signature, with Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City also eager to acquire his services.
