The Spurs are now considering Gattuso to take the lead at the club after the negotiations with Paulo Fonseca broke down.

After final week’s draw against Verona and failure in qualifying for next year’s Champions League,

Napoli

decided to cut ties with their coach

Gennaro Gattuso

.

Despite rumors regarding Juventus’ interest in Gattuso, the Italian agreed to a two-year deal with

Fiorentina

and a contract was signed between the parties. But a dispute over transfer decisions led Gattuso to part ways with Fiorentina only three weeks after joining the club.

Now it has been reported that we could soon see the 43-year-old tactician on

Tottenham

's bench shortly after his departure from the Viola.

Tottenham had reached a verbal agreement with former Roma manager Paulo Fonseca. However, financial disputes seem to have pushed Fonseca away from the club, and now Gattuso has become Tottenham’s top candidate.

With Fabio Paratici as new Tottenham managing director and his huge interest in Gattuso, the Italian coach may soon start his new journey in London.
