In an interview with
Como Te Va on Radio Colonia
, Camano talked about both Inter players, who are attracting interest in the summer transfer window.
Balance sheets rule the world, so if Inter were to lose Lautaro, it wouldn’t be for cheap,”
“The only one who could leave Inter now is Hakimi, and I represent him too.”
are competing for Italy international Hakimi’s signature, with the Nerazzurri rejecting offers of €60m which is lower than their asking price of €80m.
They have to balance books and get more funds and player exchanges are not what they are looking for.
We have to work on the Lautaro issue, as the situation is still not clear,”
“What were normal price-tags two years ago for transfers now seem to have lost their value after the pandemic. There is nothing concrete with regards to Lautaro. Inter have a very strong position with the player and they don’t want to let him go.
“We also need to see what it is that Lautaro wants, as he is 23 years old and his opinion is very important here. I think he can become one of the greatest players in Europe and the world.”
Lautaro Martinez’s contract will keep him until 2023, but he has not yet put pen to paper for a renewal. His representatives also revealed that the Argentina international is not in a hurry to commit to Inter.
