Sun 13 June 2021 | 13:48

Barcelona and Man City officials have recently had some talks over a possible swap deal.

Diario Sport

has reported that

Barcelona

and

Manchester City

officials have recently had some talks in regard to possible swap deals.

In this regard, Man City will reportedly send their two Portuguese players,

Bernardo Silva

and

Joao Cancelo

, to Barcelona and will replace them with Barca’s

Sergi Roberto

and

Ousmane Dembele

.

Silva joined City in 2017 after experiencing a prolific season with Monaco. The 26-year-old made 45 appearances for the Citizens last year, but it appears that there is no spot for the Portuguese midfielder in Pep Guardiola’s future plans.

Cancelo, who joined City from Juventus, was also heavily linked with a move to Barcelona three years ago and now the Catalans are once more eager to sign the 27-year-old defender.

Both Dembele and Sergi Roberto have contracts with the Blaugrana until 2022. Dembele is reluctant to extend his stay at Camp Nou and Roberto is on Barca’s transfer list.
