The Italy international will undergo his medical and put pen to paper with PSG on the weekend, departing the Rossoneri on free agency.

Gianluigi Donnarumma

is a product of

Milan

’s youth academy and he had his debut for the club when he was 16.

However, he did not agree to sign a new deal, with his contract reaching its expiration on June 30.

As per reports from

Sportitalia

and

Sky Sport Italia

, the 22-year-old goalkeeper’s agent Mino Raiola reached an agreement with

Paris Saint-Germain

on personal terms.

The shot-stopper will undergo his medical while being on international duty, having featured in his country’s thumping 3-0 victory over Turkey in the Euro 2020 and his tests are scheduled on Saturday or Sunday.

Juventus and Barcelona had also targeted Donnarumma, but the Italian has been on the verge of closing the deal with PSG.

Donnarumma has featured in 251 matches with the Serie A giants and contributed to one Italian Super Cup in 2016.

He has represented his country on 27 occasions, including Italy’s Euro 2020 opener that saw them secure a victory against Turkey.
