in their first Euro 2020 match on Sunday after a good season at Milan, he has been looking forward to showing his quality on the international level, but he insists that he is surprised that he won’t see the defender against him in England’s squad.

said Croatia international Rebic

“Fikayo is aggressive and very quick. We talked and he told me that he didn’t think he’d be called, but I was still frankly surprised.”

Fikayo Tomori, who joined Milan on a loan deal from Chelsea, has impressed the supporters of the Serie A side so much that the club has decided to active the €28m option in his contract to make the high-profile defender’s stay at Milan permanent, but he wasn’t even called up for the provisional squad by Gareth Southgate whose decisions concerning his squad has been criticized by many pundits.
