Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas thinks that Messi will play for his team one day.

Inter Miami’s

thinks that

Argentinian superstar

Lionel Messi

will be convinced to play for his MLS team eventually.

Messi’s deal at Camp Nou will expire at the end of the month, and despite the club’s efforts, he hasn’t talked about his decision for his future at the club, but different reports are suggesting that Messi’s possible deal with Barcelona would include two seasons in La Liga and then a move to MLS to play for Inter Miami in 2023.

Jorge Mass has confirmed that he and his co-owner David Beckham have been having conversations about bringing Messi to Inter Miami.

“David and I have been working really hard, we have aspirations of bringing the best players here and Leo Messi is a generational player, arguably the best player of all time,”

Mas told the

Miami Herald

“I am optimistic Messi will play in an Inter Miami shirt because I think it will complete the legacy of the greatest player in our generation and will meet with the ambitions of the owners of Inter Miami to build a world-class team.”

The player himself has previously confirmed his interest in playing for a team in MLS at the finishing years of his career, but right now, the most important thing in Messi’s mind and probably his most important term for a contract extension at Camp Nou is having a team that will be able to fight for all the possible trophies at least in the 2021-22 season and if Barcelona fail to give the 33-year-old what he is asking for he might join PSG or Manchester City who are trying for years to sign him.
