Arsenal restart their Martin Odegaard pursuit

Mon 07 June 2021 | 8:26

The Gunners are considering reigniting their pursuit in the Los Blancos midfielder in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal

manager

Mikel Arteta

is keen on convincing

Martin Odegaard

to come back to the Emirates Stadium on a permanent contract before the next season starts.

The Norway international has pulled off impressive performances during the six-month he was at Arsenal on a loan spell with the Gunners boss insisting that they should seal a permanent deal for Odegaard, whose position has reduced in

Real Madrid

.

However, notwithstanding being uncertain at the beginning, the 22-year-old has now made up his mind to return to the Spanish capital in the coming months.

According to

Football London

, since Real Madrid were not sure about his future, and Arsenal did not seal a contract with Norwich City’s Emi Buendia, a move for the Norwegian is on the table.

Real Madrid may agree to sell the player but Arsenal are going to ask for a lower price of around £25m.
