Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has revealed he has not spoken to Juventus or any other club as there is nothing to discuss about a departure.
have been linked with a surprise move for former goalkeeper
, although he is under contract until the summer of 2024.
The Polish goalkeeper had previously spent two seasons in Rome (between 2015 and 2017) on loan fromArsenal
, before completing his transfer to Turin.
Although he remains a reliable option in the goal,Juventus
are still interested in the services of
, who recently saw his contract withMilan
expire at the end of the campaign.
But before approaching the Italian shot-stopper, the Old Lady would need to sell Szczesny first.
“I know that this has been in the media for a while, so I will try to answer this question once and for all,”
said Szczesny during a press conference while on international duty ahead of Euro 2020
“I have not spoken to Juventus or any other club, because there is nothing to discuss about a departure.
“I am not responsible for Juventus transfer strategy.”
