Napoli star reacted to Real Madrid rumors

The Spanish midfielder has attracted Real Madrid's attention for the summer.

Napoli

midfielder Fabian Ruiz, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, has claimed that he has not yet spoken to his new coach, Luciano Spalletti.

With the presence of Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid, rumors about Ruiz joining the team have increased. Ancelotti bought Ruiz from Real Sociedad for 30 million euros during his time at Naples, and it is now said that the Italian coach needs his presence to strengthen his new team's midfield. Now, in response to questions about the possibility of his transfer to Madrid, he claimed that he has not yet talked to the new coach of the club.

“I’m fine at Napoli, I’m happy,”

Fabian continued.

“It’s a city that has welcomed me very well, a place where people experience football exactly like at Sevilla. With passion and without pauses, as I like it.

“I still have two years left on my contract and I’m happy. There’s not much to say, apart from the fact that I want to focus on the national team now, the most important thing of my summer.”

Napoli lost the Champions League qualification on the final day of the Serie A competition, and Ruiz added:

“In one match, the last one. That’s football. After the defeat against Juve, we scored 20 out of 24 points.

“We were there, we had done something important and complicated. We didn’t manage to beat Verona and the target vanished despite our great efforts.

“It disappointed me, and that’s why I want to make up for it with the national team. Sometimes football is unfair, but it’s useless to mull over what happened. We must look ahead.”
