Bayern Munich ace hit out on people expectation from the players.

The coming years are going to be tough for many football players, with the delayed Euro 2020 and the mid-season 2022 Qatar World Cup coming up in a few months. Four additional group matches are also set to be added to Champion League with the new reforms set to take place in the near future, which tightens the Schedule for the teams and the players more than ever.

Bayern Munich

ace

Robert Lewandowski

has now hit out on the upcoming schedule and the unreasonable expectations from the players.

In an interview with

Times

, the Poland international said:

"So many people forget we're humans, we're not machines, we cannot play every day at the highest level of performance.

"For football and for young players, that will be the big problem, to stay at the top for many years, because now and maybe the next two years, that will be extreme: so many big games."

The 32-year-old added:

"Even for the fans, I think so many games will be more boring because if you wait for the games longer, there's more expectation, that feeling that you've been waiting for this.

"The quality of games will go down. It's not possible to stay with this quality on the top with so many games."
