. The Belgian star was substituted after being checked by Manchester City’s medical team. De Bruyne, who left the pitch with a swollen eye, revealed that he has been diagnosed with a fractured nose and eye socket after the game.

"Hi guys just got back from the hospital. My diagnosis is Acute nose bone fracture and left orbital fracture.”

De Bruyne wrote on his Twitter account.

"I feel okay now. Still disappointed about yesterday obviously but we will be back."
