Falling out of Zinedine Zidane’s pecking order being frustrated with the former Los Blancos boss, the 33-year old reportedly sees his career independent from Madrid’s next coach’s decisions.

According to

Diario AS

, the Brazilian is ready to push for a move to Turkish giants, Fenerbahce, this summer as he experienced a significant reduction in his first team action as he has made only 16 La Liga starts in 2020/21.

Joining Real Madrid from Fluminense in 2007, Marcelo has achieved 5 La Liga titles as well as 4 Champions League with the Los Blancos.

With still one year left on his contract with the club, the Super Lig club will offer to pay off a portion of the final year of his contract to secure a deal as the Fenerbahce boss, Emre Belözoğlu, is targeting a list of big name targets ahead of the 2021/22 season.

In addition to Marcelo, Edin Džeko has also been linked with a move to the Super Lig side recently.
