Low joined as Jurgen Klinsmann’s assistant in 2004, before starting his reign two years later.
He had a positive beginning when he helped his side have a runner-up finish at the European Championship in the 2008-09 season. He also led them to a third-place finish at the 2010 World Cup.
He then contributed to the World Cup victory four years later.
