Paris Saint-Germain do not intend to continue the presence of their Italian defender.
defender Alessandro Florenzi, who was on loan at Paris Saint-Germain, will return to his parent club next season.
Tuttomercatoweb has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain have decided not to extend the Italian defender's loan deal permanently, and therefore Florenzi will not be in Paris next season. The 30-year-old defender will spend a season at Parc des Princes but will return to Rome for the 2021-221 season, which means that his future in Rome is still uncertain.
He was loaned out to Valencia in January 2020 and returned to Rome in the summer before moving to Paris Saint-Germain on loan for another season.
However, with Jose Mourinho on the bench for next season, it is unclear whether Florenzi will be in the Portuguese manager's plans.
The Italian defender played 36 games for his team last season, but finally Paris Saint-Germain decided not to activate his permanent purchase clause. Florenzi's contract with Roma expires in the summer of 2023.
