Ashley Young considering a return to Watford

Watford are negotiating with the former England international’s representatives to convince him to come back to Vicarage Road.

’s return to the club, offering the 35-year-old a one-year deal.

Young will depart

Inter Milan

in the summer transfer window after not agreeing to put pen to paper for a renewal.

He contributed to Inter winning their first Serie A title this season, but Antonio Conte terminated his contract with the club and left on Wednesday on mutual consent as Inter aimed to reduce spending.

Young was playing for Watford before moving to Aston Villa in 2007. He then joined Manchester United in 2011, where he helped his side grab the Premier League title, FA Cup and League Cup.

According to Sky Sports News, Young expressed his desire to return to Watford; however, he also mentioned that it would not be an easy decision.

"

I've never said I wouldn't go back,"

he said.

"It's the club where I started at 10 years old.

"It would be a difficult decision to make."

Watford are getting ready for

football as they sealed a top-flight return by finishing the Championship in second place.
