Inzaghi joins Inter, Allegri returns to Juve, Spaletti heads to Napoli

Thu 27 May 2021 | 22:14

Inter are set to announce Simone Inzaghi as their manager tomorrow, while Juventus bring back Max Allegri and Luciano Spalletti heads to Napoli.

The last 48 hours have been chaotic in Serie A with coaches chopping and changing throughout the league.

It all started yesterday with the sensational break between

Antonio Conte

and

Inter

, which led to the termination of the contract of the former Chelsea and Juve manager.

At that point

Beppe Marotta

jumped on

Max Allegri

, forcing

Juventus

to accelerate to bring home the five-time Scudetto winner.

Allegri had been the first choice for Inter and

Napoli

, but was already in advanced talks for a return to Juventus.

With Allegri locked down, Inter turned to

Simone Inzaghi

, who only last night had verbally agreed to extend his

Lazio

contract until June 2024.

In the meantime, Napoli has practically closed for

Luciano Spalletti.

Napoli decided to sign ex-Inter coach Spalletti, who has been out of work and on the Nerazzurri payroll since he was fired in 2019.

Spalletti is expected to sign a two-year contract with an option for a third season.
