Luka Modric extends his contract with Real Madrid

that will guarantee his stay for another year. Modric continued to be a key player for Real Madrid in their 2020-21 campaign. The Ballon d’Or winner featured in 47 matches for

Zinedine Zidane

’s side this season, which is the most out of anyone in the Real Madrid squad. Despite the team’s failure in winning trophies, Modric was considered one of the best La Liga players of the season. The 35-year-old scored five goals and provided three assists in his 35 league matches for the Blancos. Real Madrid announced Modric’s contract extension on Tuesday.
