Haaland fueled rumours after missing Dortmund kit luanch

Mon 24 May 2021 | 4:36

The Norwegian star plans to play for another team next season.

Dortmund

striker Erling Haaland, while absent from the unveiling ceremony of the club's new kit, fueled rumors of his departure from Dortmund in the summer.

The Norwegian striker, who joined Dortmund in January 2020, has had an outstanding performance in the team and has attracted the attention of big clubs. The Dortmund club held a ceremony for the launch of their 2021-22 season kit, which Erling Haaland was absent from. Dortmund star Jadon Sancho was also absent in the club's new photos.

Reports from AS indicate that both players are unsure about their future at Dortmund and therefore are not in the club's new photos. Real Madrid and Barcelona are the two teams that are closely monitoring the  Norwegian star's condition, and Manchester City, which is looking for a new striker after Aguero's departure, is also monitoring Haaland.

However, it is unlikely that Dortmund will accept less than € 180 million against Haaland, and at the moment, the two La Liga teams are not in a position to pay that amount.

Sancho, on the other hand, is still under the radar of Manchester United, and after United's failed attempt to sign him last season, Dortmund are probably more interested in selling him than selling Haaland.
