Sun 23 May 2021 | 17:48

Miralem Pjanic has talked about his feelings after a disappointing season at Camp Nou.

Miralem Pjanic

, who experienced a bad season at

Barcelona

, has used social media to express his feelings about the season, insisting that he has experienced a bitter season with questions to be answered.

The Bosnian midfielder joined the Catalans from

Juventus

last season as a part of a deal between the clubs that also included Arthur’s transfer to Juve, but he didn’t get many chances to play in

Ronald Koeman’s

team and now after Barcelona failed in the La Liga he has expressed his sadness on social media.

“Respect the team,”

Pjanic wrote

. “Give everything on and off the pitch. This is what Barcelona deserves and this is what I’ve done with my teammates from day one. This season leaves me with a bitter taste and questions that still need answers. A hug to all Catalans, see you soon. Come on Barcelona, always.”

Miralem Pjanic has made only 19 appearances for the Catalans this season, and only six of them were as a starter because Ronald Koeman prefers to use younger players in his squad, so players like Pedri and Ilaix Moriba have been getting more chances to play than the experienced Bosnian midfielder who has made 100 appearances for Bosnia and Herzegovina at the age of 31.
