Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan limped off in his side’s 3-2 defeat to Brighton in a game where Citizens played almost 80 minutes with 10 men.

and says he will be back in time for the Champions League final.
Gundogan scored in the second minute againstBrighton
but was later substituted in the 56th minute.
The Spaniard said the change was simply a precaution with the Champions League final coming up.
"Tomorrow we will check it - the doctor is quite optimistic,"
Guardiola told a news conference
"The problem is he had a kick and was running in the second half with disturbance.
"I didn’t want to take a risk, that’s why I did the substitution."
Man City had to play almost 80 minutes with 10 men after
was sent off early in the game and Guardiola admitted that the game was difficult after the defender’s dismissal.
"We have to be more careful and finish games 11 v 11,"

"We have to improve for the final, always we have to finish with 11.
"We’re the champions. In four or five days we lift the trophy and prepare for the final.
