The Reds striker has attracted interest from several English clubs, including Fulham and West Brom.

After joining

Liverpool

in 2015,

Taiwo Awoniyi

was loaned out to multiple clubs across Europe. According to

Goal.com

, the Nigerian striker has now been granted a UK work permit for the 2021-22 season. The player will be able to continue his career in England and might spend the pre-season with

Jurgen Klopp

’s side. Awoniyi’s performances for

Union Berlin

in the current season have attracted interest from a host of English clubs.

Fulham

,

West Brom

, and

Stoke

have been already involved in initial negotiations for the player while he has other suitors in Bundesliga. Having rejected

Anderlecht

’s £5-million approach, Liverpool are reportedly interested in an £8m deal for the 23-year-old. Awoniyi has featured in 20 Bundesliga matches for Union Berlin in their current campaign, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists. The German club are reportedly interested in signing the player on a permanent deal but a move away from the club seems more probable.
