The Inter CEO spoke about Inter's recent success and their future plans.
CEO Bepe Marotta has claimed that Inter's success this season has been achieved with the cooperation of all members of the club.
Inter Milan ended Juventus' nine-year winning streak and won the Scudetto. Inter last won the title in 2010, and the Conte-led Nerazzurri finally won the title again. Marotta, who is a former CEO at Juventus, was able to succeed with the team after joining Inter, and now he has explained about this success.
“When I arrived, after getting to know everyone, I discussed a new project with the club owners. We discussed it both with Piero Ausilio and the owners, drawing up a programme with new choices and a new structure, seeing as it was right to make changes.
“Conte was the architect behind the march towards the Scudetto, along with the players who followed his instructions and the club that supported him in every way.
“All together, we had this unexpected joy for a Scudetto that arrived four games early, so that too is a small record we are proud of.”
Marotta added on Inter's strategy in summer transfer window:
“I say on behalf of myself and the club that we will give our all to achieve new objectives. The equation that those who spend the most money end up winning is not always true.”
