Ronaldo isn’t moving to Lisbon according to his agent

Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes end the rumors of his transfer to Sporting Lisbon.

There were many speculations and rumors about

Cristiano Ronaldo’s

possible transfer to Sporting Lisbon, specifically after the Portuguese star’s mother claimed that he is going to convince him to get back to his boyhood club and his hometown.

These rumors and talks about Real Madrid’s former star began after his bad season with

Juventus

in the domestic and the continental competitions, but Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent has ruled out all these rumors insisting that they are all rubbish and he is not going to Sporting Lisbon.

“Cristiano is proud of the title won by Sporting (this season), as he has publicly demonstrated,”

Mendes told an interview with Portuguese outlet

Record

.

“But at the moment his career plans do not go through Portugal.”

The 36-year-old superstar is about to enter the last year of his contract, and his representative Jorge Mendes insists that he is going to commit to that contract.

Despite denying a move to Sporting Lisbon, Cristiano Ronaldo cannot deny the important role of his spell at the club in his successful career as it was his first professional team before moving to Manchester United in 2003 and then becoming one of the best players in the history of football winning many trophies and titles.
