Estadio do Dragao will host the UCL final

The Champions League’s final match will be moved to Porto instead from Istanbul.

After the failure in the UK government’s negotiations with

UEFA

about moving the match to Wembley, the final decision has been made, and Porto's Estadio do Dragao is where the

Champions League’s

final match will take place.

The reason why Wembley could not host the match was the government rules of border control and the fact that it would be hard for the 2,000 staff, sponsors, VIPs, and foreign media to obey those rules as it seemed impossible to put those restrictions away.

The match was going to take place in Istanbul at the Ataturk Stadium, but the government decided to put Turkey on its red list of at-risk countries, which meant that the fans couldn’t attend the match on Monday.

Now that the final match’s stadium has changed, UEFA is negotiating with the Portuguese government, trying to let 20000 supporters attend the match, and if the talks reach the desired result, each team can have 6000 of their fans at the stadium, and since Portugal is on the Government’s green list, the UK visitors will be able to safely attend the match and enjoy watching the Champions League’s final.
