According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi has enticed the attention of Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Italian tactician's agreement lapses in June, and despite both Lazio and Inzaghi claiming several times that they will enter an understanding on a new contract, the coach has yet to sign one.
Lazio sporting director Igli Tare said in April that if Inzaghi returned from COVID, he would have signed a new deal.
On the other hand, the 45-year-old coach has never visited the club since and is said to have requested a meeting with Lazio's directors only at the end of the season.
Both Leicester City and Spurs have made touch with the former striker, as per the Rome-based newspaper.
While no formal proposals have been made, bothPremier League
clubs seem to be interested in the Lazio coach.
Tottenham have also begun negotiations with
, the former Chelsea and Juventus manager, though
Gian Piero Gasperini
has denied Spurs approached him.
According to Italian newspapers, Inzaghi is also a contender to succeed Andrea Pirlo at Juventus, who is set to quit the Allianz Stadium at the end of the season.
