Verratti is out of action for four to six weeks

According to Sky Sport Italia, the PSG midfielder has sustained a collateral ligament injury and will be out of action for four to six weeks.

, who called up the 28-year-old for the Euro 2020 opener clash against Turkey on June 11.

The Italy international sustained a ligament injury in his right knee when he was training on Thursday and reports have previously claimed that he would return after three weeks.

Now, however, the latest medical tests show that the midfielder’s injury will take more time to recover from. He is also a doubt for European Championship this year.
