Arsenal to compete with Real Madrid for Eduardo Camavinga

Tue 11 May 2021 | 8:14

The Gunners are keeping tabs on Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga before the 2021-22 campaign starts.

Eduardo Camavinga

has become one of the star players of

Ligue 1

during the last two seasons with major European clubs interested in acquiring his services.

Real Madrid

were speculated to be racing for the France international’s signature in the summer; however, as per reports from French outlet

Le10 Sport,Arsenal

have decided to challenge them.

If Mikel Arteta’s side do not get European qualification, their transfer budget is going to be slashed in the summer.

The 18-year-old has not agreed to sign an extension yet, with his contract due to expire in 2022. Should he continue to decline a renewal, the Ligue 1 club may decide to sell him around €65m.
