Manchester United have been able to reach an agreement with their Uruguayan striker, who has performed well this season.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Edinson Cavani has reached an agreement withManchester United
to extend his contract with the club.
The Uruguayan striker, who scored his ninth Premier League goal on Sunday, has decided to stay at Old Trafford. His salary will increase by 2.5 million pounds, which has encouraged him to extend his contract for another year. He currently earns 200,000 pounds a week, but has not yet officially announced his plans for next season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Cavani had meetings with each other and in these meetings, an agreement was reached to continue cooperation. United were able to reach an agreement by increasing his weekly salary by 50,000 pounds.
Rumor has it that Cavani intends to play in South America and does not want to continue playing football in Europe. However, Romano confirmed that an agreement has been reached between the two.
