Mourinho wants to have Isco at Roma

Wed 05 May 2021 | 20:30

Mourinho reportedly wants to bring Real Madrid’s Isco to Roma in the transfer window.

Real Madrid’s

former boss wants to take

Isco

to

Roma

with him when he joins the Italian side at the end of the season.

Isco has been struggling for playing time this season, and the speculations about his departure have been stronger than ever despite the reports about Zidane’s good relationship with the Spanish midfielder.

Mourinho’s

arrival at Roma has made the transfer market more active even before happening, and the club’s lineup for the next season will be based on his opinion.

Isco, who has just turned 29, has made 27appearances for the club this season and assisted two goals and will be free to choose his next destination with the expiration of his contract in June 2022.

Despite being near the end of his contract, Isco has been receiving other offers even in the previous seasons.

Sevilla

is another team interested in signing the 29-year-old midfielder, but their €15m doesn’t seem to give them any chances of signing the player.

The club wants €30m, but they may accept less than that considering the market’s situation.

So considering all the aspects of the reports, Isco’s transfer to Italy to work with Mourinho seems the most probable incident.
