Borussia Dortmund is allegedly interested in signing Brighton defender Ben White, but the German side will face a challenge from Manchester United, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old is one of England's most promising young defenders.
White spent last season on loan at Leeds United, helping the Yorkshire side return to England's top-class, before making an impression with his parent club this season.
Dortmund has now entered the competition to sign him this season, according to the Sun.
Brighton was valued at £35 million for the 23-year-old, who turned down three offers from Leeds a year earlier, the second of which was for £25 million.
Thanks to Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham's recent success, Dortmund has a solid track record when it comes to spotting and developing young English talent.
However, United central defender
has apparently persuaded Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to make a move on White, and the German side could face tough competition for his getting the deal done.
White has made 31Premier League
appearances for Brighton this season, and
have been mentioned as potential suitors.
