The Dutch manager, who was among the Spurs’ candidates to replace Mourinho, has penned a new contract with the Dutch giants that will keep him with the club until 2023.
The club confirmed the news on theirTwitter
account with a short caption that read: “His home? Amsterdam…
“+1 for Erik ten Hag ➥ 2023,” announcing that the manager has penned a one-year contract extension with the club.
Eric ten Hag became Ajax’s head-coach in 2017, replacing Marcel Keizer, and led the club to domestic glory. He also led the club to the Champions League's semi-finals in 2019.
The Dutchman had been previously linked to Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich.
