Pastore: ‘PSG asked me to persuade Messi for the transfer’
Probably closer than ever to a move to Paris Saint-Germain, out-of-contract Lionel Messi is hugely linked with a summer move to the Parisiens as their former midfielder, Javier Pastore, admits the club always had dream of signing messi.
Pastore, now on the books at Roma, told
AS: "PSG have always wanted Messi, every year.
"Jokingly, they asked me to persuade him to go to Paris, that the city was beautiful, that there was an ambitious project and so on, they did the same with Di Maria. I told them how nice it was to live in Paris, how strong the team was. In the end, I only convinced Angel."
The Argentine’s contract with Barcelona is to expire this summer as Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring his situation closely.
