Replacing Nikola Maksimovic and Faouzi Ghoulam, the Partenopei have been in the transfer market for a fullback. However, they have reportedly shortened their list of targets to two names, Hajduk’s Mario Vuskovik and Leeds United full-back Ezgjan Alioski.
Breaking the news, Tuttosport has also indicated the Partenopei have to fight with Torino and Sassuolo for Vuskovic’s €5m signature. The 19-year-old has played 23 League games this term and has a contract until June 2024 with Hajduk Split.
Their alternative is Leeds United’s 29-year-old fullback, Alioski, who as a key part of Marcelo Bielsa’s plans, has played 31 times in the Premier League this term.
